I am currently a Lecturer in the School of Computing and Information Technology at University of Wollongong since July 2023. Prior to that, I was an ARC research fellow at School of Computing Technologies from RMIT University under the surpervison of Prof. Zhifeng Bao since September 2022. My research interests include data science and data mining.

Intelligent transportation system aims to provide innovative services related to different transportation modes and trajectory planning, which enable riders to have safe, convenient and economic friendly trips. Among a lot of transportation strategies, we aim to study a promising service: ridesharing, which can encourage users with similar itineraries and time schedules to share their trips. Such service can save money, reduce traffic congestion and increase car seat utilization, which can bring win-win benefit among drivers and riders. In our research, we aim to study how to find a bilateral matching between a set of drivers and riders under a series of spatial-temporal constraints dynamicly.
What does a user expect when using a personalized map service for spatial object recommendation? We observe that the following questions may matter to cater for users’ intention: (1) what does the system recommend for users at different stages of data exploration when they zoom in or zoom out the map application? (2) why does the system recommend a particular spatial object to the users? In this project, we focus on the POI recommender system in a multi-level manner by involving spatial granularity information. To this end, we expect that users can be recommended effective POIs when they have personal requirements on spatial granularity, or even they do not provide any specific intentions on where to go. Our model can completely explore the intrinsic spatial containment relationship between a POI point and a suburb then provide recommendations for varying spatial granularity. Moreover, users will be acknowledged about additional hints on why such a recommendation is generated.
Design a kind of SaaS software deployment Language SSDL, which is SaaS software deployment scheme oriented, in order to provide data information for software performance optimization and support the auto-optimization process.
Construct a register center to store varying spatial data information and answer spatial-textual query effectively. Develop a personalized business process orchestration tool to configure, transfer and monitor heterogeneous data.
